The Chairman, Conference of Executive Secretaries of Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State, Mr. Alabi David, has faulted those saying the state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, was not performing up to expectation.
David, who is also the Executive Secretary of the Bariga LCDA, said, “When the governor came on board, he said he would run a government by service and not a government by force, and that he would make life easier and Lagosians happier. He met a lot of abandoned projects and he gave instruction that all the abandoned projects should be completed. He is really working.
“Ambode has performed creditably well in the past and it is a fact that the governor actually wants the best for the people of the state and by the time the results of the ongoing efforts of the governor become visible, Ambode would be adjudged as the best governor in Nigeria.”
