Cristiano Ronaldo reminded Atletico Madrid fans just how many Champions League titles he’s won. The former Real Madrid star made an unhappy return to the Spanish capital as Juventus lost 2-0 in the last-16 first-leg clash on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo was subject to jeers and boos throughout the game, having terrorised Atletico on countless occasions with Real.
And the Portuguese superstar could not keep his cool for the entire 90 minutes as he started to flash five fingers at supporters in the stands.
Of course, the five fingers refer to the five Champions League titles he’s won as a player.
Ronaldo lifted his first title with Manchester United during their famous penalty shoot-out win over Chelsea in Moscow.
And he went on to win four more at Real, including three on the bounce under Zinedine Zidane.
And despite suffering defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano, Ronaldo continued his taunts in when speaking to journalists at full-time.
Without pausing to answer questions, the Los Blancos legend repeated: “I have five Champions Leagues, and Atletico have none.”
